报告摘要：Prime numbers always attract a lot of interest. Are there formulas that produce primes? We discuss how this problem is related to the famous Hilbert's 10th Problem and present the current records.
个人简介：Maxim Vsemirnov教授是俄罗斯科学院通讯院士，现为俄罗斯科学院Steklov数学所圣彼得堡分部所长（director). 研究领域是数论、组合数学与代数，主持过十多项俄罗斯基础研究基金项目，在J. Algebra, J. Number Theory, Acta Arith., Q.J. Math., J. Group Theory, SIAM J. Discrete Math., European J. Combin.等重要国际期刊上发表了40多篇学术论文, 还多次应邀在国际学术会议上做专题报告。
